Craniosacral Therapy: The craniosacral system comprises the bones of the cranium and sacrum, underlying connective tissue membranes (which are connected directly or indirectly to all the structures in our bodies through the fascia), and the cerebrospinal fluid. Restrictions in this system occur due to trauma, surgery, repetitive motions, or postural dysfunction, which can manifest as pain, restricted motion, and loss of flexibility. These restrictions can be released in a gentle manor by using the bones of the cranium and sacrum as bony handles to contact the fascia, providing self-correction and healing within the body. Deep Tissue/Orthopedic Structural Massage uses a clinical view in order to help with pain management, musculoskeletal discomfort, and injuries.
This form includes using techniques such as trigger point release, transverse and longitudinal friction, myofascial release, and active stretching.
Athletic and non-athletic clients will be assisted in maintaining their peak performance and lessening their pain and discomfort.
Sessions will forego a full body massage in order to address specific areas in greater depth.

Myofascial Release: The fascial system is a matrix of connective tissue similar in appearance to a spider's web. It covers and connects every part of the body including bones, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels as well as the internal organs. Trauma, surgery, repetitive motions, or postural dysfunction can cause restriction in the fascial system, creating problems such as pain, restricted motion, and loss of flexibility. Myofascial release is a gentle form of body work that softly lengthens and realigns the fascia. Through a combination of analysis of the client's history, assessment of their postural alignment, and feeling for tense or restricted areas, the myofascial release therapist is able to provide individualized treatments for restoration of the body's ideal state of health and function. A home exercise program is typically provided to empower the client with techniques for injury prevention and general wellness maintenance. Call Mike @ (760) 258-7222 to set up an appointment.
Sports Massage can be beneficial for athletes pre or post race. It can also aid in overall maitenance and training.
It addresses overuse areas incorporating sweeping strokes, stretching, and trigger point to maintain performance. Call Mary @(760) 920-3764.
Swedish Massage is an oil massage, performed on the table. It allows for a deeply relaxing massage.
This is non-clinical, using techniques such as sweeping strokes, kneading, friction, and range of motion stretches using light to medium pressure.
It is highly beneficial for improving circulation, easing tension, and soothing the mind.
This can be integrated in to a more therapeutic massage by giving extra attention to specific problem areas.
